Limited Warranty by Product Category
The following warranty periods apply to all products sold by LINEA Designer Furniture for normal residential use, commencing from the date of delivery. Unless otherwise stated on the individual product page, the periods below shall apply.

* Warranty periods are for residential use only and commence from the date of delivery. Commercial use warranty terms differ — please contact us before purchasing for commercial purposes.
Product page takes precedence — Where a specific warranty period is stated on the individual product page, that period shall apply in place of the table above.
Coverage
What this Limited Warranty covers
This Limited Warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship detected within the applicable warranty period, including the reasonable cost of parts, labour, and transportation where applicable and approved by LINEA.
- Manufacturing defects — Structural or material faults that exist at the time of manufacture and are not caused by use, handling, or environment after delivery.
- Repaired or replaced items — If a claim is approved and the item is repaired or replaced, the repaired or replaced item continues to be covered only for the remaining period of the original Limited Warranty — not a new warranty period.
- Residential use only — This Limited Warranty applies only to products used in a private residential setting. Products used in commercial environments — including offices, restaurants, cafes, hotels, Airbnb, serviced apartments, or rental properties — are not covered unless a separate commercial warranty has been agreed in writing.
- Original purchaser only — This Limited Warranty is non-transferable and applies solely to the original purchaser. It does not extend to resale, gifted items, or products that have changed ownership.
Exclusions
What this Limited Warranty does not cover
This Limited Warranty does not cover damage, defects, or deterioration caused by any of the following:
Use & Handling
- Normal wear and tear from regular use
- Negligence, misuse, abuse, or accidents
- Improper assembly or failure to follow assembly instructions
- Modifications or repairs by unauthorised parties
- Damage caused by moving, repositioning, or relocation after delivery
- Damage caused by third-party movers or customer-arranged transport
Environment & Care
- Exposure to water, heat, humidity, or direct sunlight
- Damage caused by pets
- Use of harsh cleaning agents or improper cleaning methods
- Mould, mildew, rust, oxidation, or corrosion
- Renovation dust, chemical exposure, or airborne contaminants
- Pest or insect damage
Materials & Appearance
- Fabric softening, foam compression, or upholstery pilling
- Colour fading or dye transfer from clothing or accessories
- Natural wood grain variations, knots, or mineral lines
- Colour or tone differences due to screen display or photography
- Minor size or dimension tolerances within industry standards
Purchase & Usage Type
- Commercial, rental, or Airbnb use
- Items purchased from unauthorised resellers
- Items without valid proof of purchase
- Clearance, As-Is, or Final Sale items
- Defects reported after the warranty period has lapsed
- Aesthetic dissatisfaction or subjective comfort preference
Claims
How to make a Limited Warranty claim
To submit a warranty claim, contact us via WhatsApp at 016 262 4929 within the applicable warranty period. Please have the following ready:
- Your order number — Found in your order confirmation email or your account on our website.
- Clear photographs or videos of the defect — Include the affected area, a full view of the item, and the original packaging where still available.
- A brief description of the issue — Describe what the defect is, where it appears, and when you first noticed it.
- Assessment & resolution — LINEA will assess the claim and respond within 5–10 working days. If the claim is approved, LINEA will determine the appropriate remedy at our sole discretion — this may include repair, replacement of defective parts, replacement with a new item, or a refund where applicable.
Please note — All warranty claims are subject to inspection and verification by LINEA. LINEA’s assessment and decision on all matters relating to defects, workmanship, and claim eligibility shall be final.
Natural Materials
Variations in natural materials
The following are natural characteristics of the materials used and are not considered manufacturing defects under this Limited Warranty:
- Wood knots, grain variations, mineral lines, pores, and natural markings in solid wood and wood veneer
- Colour or tone differences between production batches due to natural material variation
- Natural expansion, contraction, or ageing of wood over time
- Fabric or leather softening, creasing, stretching, or gradual colour change through regular use
- New material odour, which should dissipate gradually over time
- Minor size or measurement tolerances within accepted industry standards
LINEA recommends visiting our offline store in Seremban to view actual products before purchase, to accurately assess colours, textures, and workmanship.
